Universal Milling Head – smithy
The universal milling head (Figure 5-7) mounts to the face of the Versa-Mil and is driven by the spindle of the basic unit. This feature eliminates the need for special belts and permits the head to operate at any angle. The milling head and the basic unit have the same spindle taper and use the same arbors.

Hi Bernie, I used to own one of these machines and did quite a bit of work to it, mainly replacing bearings in the spindle drive. Ralph is correct they are still being sold, called an X8130A now and most seem to have a squarer head with a quill, mine had a more basic vertical milling head with no quill and was a creamy grey colour.
